7 Ways to Look Great in Designer Fitness Clothes

“Fitness and fashion do not go hand in hand” says only an ignorant. If you thought fitness fashion is an alien concept, you probably are living in an alien world right now. For the realm of fitness has become fashionable over the years and how! Gone are the days of ill-fitted, dull, plain-Jane, no-nonsense track pants and t-shirts. Fitness clothing is just as expressive and idea-elucidating as party-wear clothes probably. And, with the whole concept of working out becoming more holistic, great emphasis is being laid to not only what you do, but also what you eat, what kind of lifestyle you lead, and what you wear while you are on the job. For good-looking clothes not only serve as extra motivation to sweat it out like you mean it, but they also make the whole experience more fun.

And with all the myriad options we have right now to be fit and kicking, there should be no dull moment in your fit life.

Livon Hair Gain Tonic for Hair Loss

HAIR LOSS!

During your morning shower, while you’re blowing it dry, or when you give it a quick brush—it happens all the time. On an average, we lose fifty to a hundred hair strands a day and that’s just hair going through its cycles, and there will be new ones to replace it. This is absolutely normal.

Most women experience some hair loss during their lifetimes on more than one occasion. Significant hair loss is often a symptom of depression and stress.

Food Review: Yoga Café

Healthandfitness

A very Happy New Year to the readers of ButterandButts 🙂

Almost everyone’s New Year resolution includes ‘eating healthy’, am I right or am I right? I am going to make things easier for you. I have recently started exploring healthy food restaurants in Delhi and had reviewed Lean Chef in December. Did you visit the place yet?

Just when I was looking for healthy food joints, Yoga Café surprised me with some delicious food. They have a different menu for everyday of the week and asked me to pick whatever I like.

Food Review: Lean Chef

foodreview_deepika

I get a headache every time I hear “I’d rather enjoy my food and die early than eat healthy and live long?” There has always been a misconception that healthy food is not tasty. Putting it better- It’s just ghas phus. Just to debunk this myth, I decided to explore places that make finger licking healthy food.

Last week, post office, I decided to visit Lean Chef. I got titillated by fresh-from-the-oven aroma of the food items as soon as I entered the place.

Curb the Curse

Hypothyroidism is one of the main causes of weight gain, especially in women. And it comes with innumerable other problems like diabetes, sleeplessness, painful periods, constant fatigue, low bone density, low levels of Vitamin D ( the major reason behind weight gain), PCOD,  high blood pressure, etc.
Soon after I came to Delhi, some 5 years back, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and depression accompanied. After infinite cribbing, I decided to deal with it. I believe in the fact that no matter how big the problem is, in the end, the way you deal with it is all that matters.  And I’ve never looked back.

Eat right. Eat all you want.

You may call me stereotypical but being a Punjabi is enough to suffice the fact that I’m a big time foodie. That and a health freak. I’ve always been healthy because my dad is a health freak. He’s always made sure that I’m involved in some sort of physical activity or the other. I remember how I used to hate waking up at 5 in the morning during my school days because my dad wanted me to go for running or practice yoga.

But then things changed. I came to Delhi for my graduation. The very fact that I came to “Delhi” led to a change in my lifestyle- no portion control, no exercise, unhealthy food, no regulations in terms of timings. Here, I would like to make this clear that I have no grudges against Delhi. In fact I love this place so much that I don’t feel like going home anymore. That’s the kind of effect it has on me. Coming back to the topic, I started gaining weight like anything. And then I had to get my tests done because it wasn’t just the increasing weight that was bothering me but I started suffering from a lot of other problems. Waking up to a bloated stomach and a swelled face became a routine. And then I was diagnosed for thyroid which I’ll be discussing in detail in my next post. Due to weight gain, I went into depression. I couldn’t wear what I wanted to. Zipping my jeans became a challenge (I’m not kidding).
